On Friday, September 29, 2023, Virginia CARES will host its Annual Dinner and Awards Banquet and will include a Silent Auction. Events will start at 5:00 PM and dinner will be served at 6:00 PM.

Each year Virginia CARES recognizes exceptional program participants, statewide staff, and service delivery sites.  The guest speaker for the event will be Jennie Amison.  Ms. Amison is the Regional Director of the National Association of Blacks in Criminal Justice and currently works as an Offender Workforce Development Specialist with the Virginia Department of Corrections.  Director Harold Clark of Virginia’s Department of Corrections will be attending as the special guest.  Read more and get tickets here.
