Please join OEO and the Office of Trauma and Resilience Policy [OTRP] for two informative sessions in September. OTRP will provide a comprehensive overview of the Virginia HEALS Initiative. Virginia HEALS, a groundbreaking cross-systems initiative dedicated to preventing and mitigating childhood trauma through the implementation of a trauma-informed model of service delivery for our Commonwealth’s families. The Model, supported by a toolkit and e-learning courses, promotes policies and practices to identify children who have experienced trauma and provide them with coordinated support based on their individual needs and identities. The 90 minute workshop will be offered twice: Tuesday, September 19 at 10:00 AM and it will repeat on Thursday, September 21 at 10:00 AM. The deadline for registration is Monday, September 11.
