Farmville, VA – On September 13 STEPS held a region wide celebration of the reopening of Madeline’s House under STEPS leadership. Sharon Harrup and the amazing team at STEPS worked to restart domestic violences services in the region and have created a beautiful space to serve victims. Senator Warner attended and presented a nearly $1 million congressionally directed funding check. Kevin Otey, Angel Ampey, Abby Hanks and Erik Johnston joined the celebration. Thank you STEPS for taking on this huge effort and pulling the community together to make it happen.
