National Diaper Needs Awareness Week spotlight on AppCAA

Gate City, VA – Appalachian Community Action & Development Agency  (AppCAA) today marked the beginning of National Diaper Needs Awareness Week. AppCAA is one of the pilot sites in Virginia for the groundbreaking Diaper Distribution Demonstration and Research Pilot (DDDRP) from the Office of Community Services (OCS). This video highlights the stories of families experiencing diaper need and the impact of the DDDRP program on those families. Virginia Community Action Partnerships’ (VACAP) whole family approach is making a difference in the lives of children and families. Discover how this initiative is not just distributing free diapers but also connecting low-income families in Appalachian Virginia with essential wraparound services. Watch this new video here.
