Richmond VA – Virginia Community Action Partnership is pleased to announce over 20,200 taxpayers were assisted during the most recent tax filing season. Over 900 community volunteers from 19 different agencies across Virginia participated with the Virginia CASH Campaign to provide Volunteer Income Tax (VITA) preparation services. Volunteer recruitment efforts resulted in an over 8% increase in the number of volunteers. The total state investment in this program yields a return of $45 for every $1 invested. Learn more here.
